We decided to take a little family trip to pismo beach for Hendrix birthday. It was a great trip where we got to hang with the kids do some cool stuff and find some great inspiration from the little farms and wineries north of LA

Cool steel beam holding an awesome brick wall
Jaclyn looking cool
Today we installed two sliding g barn doors each door was 8ft tall by 4 wide.
We started by putting them together by hand making sure that all the angles and length were exact
Then we hand carved and enhanced the grain of each piece, creating a vintage feel
We then stained each door with a dark kona and a light cherry color.
Finally we used the fire torch to burn the edges and enhance even further the texture of the wood.
Once the doors were dried and finished we I stalled the hardware.
Finally we delivered and the doors to the customer
This week we tackled a little project with the kids. Great way to get the kids involved in some home decor
Today we power through another hot day in Temecula. The heat did not stop us from crafting these two doors that will soon be installed. could not have done it without the help of the kids and Jaclyn who were constantly pointing out places where the doors needed improvement. IT WAS A TOTAL TEAM EFFORT
